Following the outstanding success of the giant Medical Head we created which was displayed at Exhibitions around the world, our customer commissioned us to create a smaller model which could be transported in 3 flight cases and easily assembled on site. Scaled to 3 times actual size, the head and lower jaw were 3D printed in nylon, and the spine was CNC carved in Renshap foam to ensure minimum weight with rigidity. The throat section is made from silicone and the ‘Protector’ insert is vacuum formed. We created the base in 2 sections and then airbrushed the Protector with a variety of custom paints and special effects to give it a realistic look and feel. We added LED lighting and airbrushed our customer’s logo onto the base to ensure maximum impact. The model is currenlty on its way to an exhibition in Hong Kong for the start of its world tour.
