Much of the front end on this 1948 Pontiac was in good condition, but the rear end required considerable repair. We started by removing the body from the chassis, and repaired all the rust, making up repair panels as required. Then it was time for prep, etch primer, primer and ‘baby blue’ paint and of course a lot of flatting and polishing. We detailed the engine bay and interior dash, heater and radio etc. We also carried out a 6V to 12V conversion, and lowered the suspension to give it slightly better handling as the owner is planning to us this as his daily driver. A full re-trim in high quality grey and dark blue Alcantara finished it off to perfection. We we very happy that the owner allowed us to present the car on our stand at the NEC Classic Car show.
